VicRoads "Child Restraints and Booster Seat" rules (applicable to our industry), require that "cars and buses up to 12 seats, all children under 4 years of age are to be seated in a legally approved child restraint".

All our courtesy buses are fitted with two (2) forward facing child restraints suitable for children between 1 and 4 years of age using an Australian approved anchorage bar. We also have booster seats for children between 4 and 7 years of age that can be used in conjunction with a standard lap/sash seatbelts.

If you are travelling with your own booster seat you are welcome to use it.

We regret that we are unable to supply a rearward facing child restraint as our buses have no provisions for fitting these. Therefore we cannot transport children between 0 and 12 months old under any circumstances. If you have very young children we recommend that you drop your partner with any children less than 12 months old at the Airport Terminal first, then park your car with us.

It is the responsibility of the adult travelling with the child to ensure the seat is suitable for their child and all seat belts are adjusted correctly.

Discount Airport Parking accepts no responsibility for passengers that provide false information regarding the age of their children We regret any inconvenience that these rules may cause but compliance with the regulations is mandatory and is outside of our control.
